Lights and Shadows: Exploring Physics and Art

PreK, K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd

A hands-on exploration of light, shadow, and color. Students investigate how shadows form, how nature creates light, and build key vocabulary—translucent, transparent, opaque—before a culminating experiment on how light and color interact. Pairs well with early physical science units on light, waves, and refraction.
